
Technical Manager/Technical Trainer
Key Responsibilities will involve, but not be limited to, the following:
- Ensure that the Company’s current technical processes and procedures are being implemented and maintained across the business.
- Challenge, improve and where possible simplify current processes through site engagement, interaction with key stakeholders, the use of latest technologies and analysis of business data.
- Respond to situations in a timely manner either remotely or by attending sites / premises
- Support our key client’s requirements via the business development team as required
- Provide valuable feedback from the business to the Leadership Team
- Be an intrinsic and supportive member of the Technical & Audit team
- Design, deliver and provide valuable input to technical training courses
- Have a focus on workplace Health & Safety and lead by example
- Provide on-going technical support to the business as required.
- Work with internal audit teams to identify areas for improvement and be influential in providing realistic solutions.
- Monitor site standards and escalate issues arising with a proactive view on resolving and preventing repetition.
- Provide progress updates to the HT&A on implementation of recently launched innovations
- Attend and /or deliver technical training/innovation days and forums
- Actively contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the Restoration business.
- Where applicable provide technical feedback to the business stakeholders in the event of complaints.
- Deliver the field based technical audit process of local branches and their field based technicians
- Take responsibility for the day to day management of the technical team and Regional Technical Trainers
Skills & Qualifications
- Damage Management experience in flood and fire for both commercial and domestic
- Relevant industry related training
- Relevant BDMA qualification or willing to work towards
- Have good experience in using MS Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
- H&S training (IOSH / NEBOSH)
- A training qualification is desirable but not essential as experience is key to this role
